After a relatively short duration of servicing select clients alongside (the previously staffed) interactive team at Wingman Media, I felt a strong urge to switch gears and take my skills elsewhere. Without going into great detail, as I don’t want to distract you with Office Space quotes, let’s just say that a “Bob-like” figure was (unfortunately) brought in, resulting in the abrupt evacuation of all (4) interactive department members. For lack of a better explanation, you can claim that I took heed to the intelligent (and inspiring) words from Gary Vaynerchuk in his NYC web2.0 keynote, and realized that there was truly no reason in 2008 to do something I hate :)

Regardless, I am still in the (interactive) market, happily working on strategies as well as implementation of online media campaigns for 2 clients of my own with a few additional proposals as well as potential clients in the oven, just waiting to rise up. Certainly nowhere near reaching rock bottom (like Jeremy Schoemaker discusses in his heartfelt post, Have You Ever Lost It All?), but I have definitely learned some more valuable lessons pertaining to life and the overall pursuit there of. It’s me, yours truly, Scott Schroeder y’all; plenty more to be published, related to this here story as well as a whole slew of other stories, all relevant to me and my perceived outlook as I continuously synthesize it - stay tuned!
